The Pose

Tinkerbell silouhetteWhen posing characters in your storyboard panels, two main aspects must always be considered:

  1. Silhouette – The overall shape of a pose, which should read clearly even when the pose is blacked in without its internal details
  2. Line of Action – This helps your poses “read”. It makes them clear and understandable and gives them a distinct non-ambiguous direction
